The role
We are working with an organisation with a unit in Swindon that is looking to add a Senior Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner to their team. You will join on a permanent basis and work 37.5 hours per week, including days, evenings and weekends.
You will need to engage with children in various settings, including schools and community centres and work closely with families to offer guidance, education, and support in managing their child's mental health challenges. You will collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, social services, and other community organisations to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to each child's well-being.
What we need from you
You must have an excellent understanding of CYP MH challenges and effective interventions and experience of working in an enhanced need MH multi-disciplinary team environment and with external professionals such as emergency services. You must have experience providing direct urgent mental health services within an urgent care setting or working with clients presenting with significant safety needs and behaviours that challenge. Ideally you will have experience in quality improvement measures although this isn't essential.
What you'll get in return
You will work 37.5 hours per week, including days, evenings and weekendworking. The annual salary is up to £32,000.
