The Role

£5000 joining bonus for the successful candidate!

We are looking for a Registered Services Manager for our client’s children’s home in the north west of England. Our client offer an unique service and operate several residential homes in the north of England and Southern Scotland. Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will oversee the effective operation of a multi-building residential children’s home managing the care of 4-6 children. You will lead a small team including an assistant manager and senior staff supporting children who they look after on a short-term basis (typically around to 17 weeks).

What we need from you

You are an existing Registered Services Manager with at least 12 months management experience or an Assistant Manager of a larger service looking to make the step up. It is essential you hold a Level 3 diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce and happy to be enrolled on the Level 5 diploma at the point of application. You will have strong leadership skills, and you will need to have demonstrable experience working with children and young people who may present with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
