The role

We are collaborating with an organization that is looking for a Registered Manager to oversee a two-bedded home in the Stoke on Trent area. This role involves ensuring optimal outcomes for young people while maintaining high standards of care. Key responsibilities include staff management, professional development, and participating in the referral and placement matching process. You will be part of a dedicated team that believes all young people deserve a safe and nurturing environment, emphasizing the importance of building relationships and teamwork.

 

What we need from you

To be considered for this position, you should have at least two years of experience in a residential children's home and possess excellent relationship-building skills. A commitment to providing inspirational care and direction to young people is essential. Candidates must hold the Level 3Diploma in Residential Childcare or Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner and either have completed or be willing to work towards the Level5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare. A thorough understanding of the Quality Standards for Children's Homes is also required.

 

What you'll get in return

In return for your dedication, you will receive an annual salary of up to £54,000, 28 days of leave including bank holidays, and an additional day of leave for each year of service up to five years.
