The role

We are working with an organisation that is looking to ad dan experienced Programme Manager. You will join a team of motivated professionals to provide adults with disabilities day opportunities and activities that promote the ethos of lifelong learning and the importance of wellbeing in adult life. The role involves working with adults with cerebral palsy, communication and sensory impairments and complex learning needs including those with Autism Spectrum Conditions.

 You will work in the Adult Day Service and will play a key role within the operational management team to deliver high-quality, person-centred programmes. You will mentor and support the team, ensuring that activities and programmes enable individuals to work towards their personal goals and aspirations.

What we need from you

You will have experience managing large teams with in independent supported living settings. You will have extensive experience supporting disabled adults with cerebral palsy, communication, sensory impairments and complex learning needs.

You will have evidence of recent commitment to CPD in LLDD/SEN and training in use of NAPPI or relevant techniques to manage behaviour as well as experience planning and leading programmes to meet individuals care and support plans. You will be confident working with a range of external professionals (care managers and social workers etc).

Ideally, you will be MIDAS trained or be willing to undertake training and will have a specialist qualification in any specialist area (VI/HI/ASD).
