The role

We are working with an organisation in Swindon that is looking to add a Communities Service Lead to their team. You will work 37.5 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

You will play a critical role in development of the service and in the day-to-day delivery of effective mental and emotional well-being support to CYP within the community. The position involves providing direct urgent mental health services, collaborating with families, emergency services, CAMHS, schools, and community organisations, and contributing to a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for young people. The role will involve liaising with key stakeholders to collaborate, maintain positive, cohesive relationships and avoid system duplication and supporting routine internal governance audits and respond to any identified actions / improvements ensuring the team are confident in maintaining accurate records. You will also lead in managing any potential safeguarding concerns through school consultation and MASH liaison.

What we need from you

You will have the knowledge of development in MH CYP, family development and of transitions and ideally, a relevant management qualification. You will have experience in quality improvement measures and strong leadership and management skills. You must have experience of working in an enhanced need MH multi-disciplinary team environment and with external professionals such as emergency services.

What you'll get in return

You will work 37.5 hours per week, including days, evenings and weekend working. The annual salary is up to £38,000.
